Christmas Cards = Failure for the Isbell Family, so I opted for a blog update.
2012 has been a year marked by the Faithfulness of God. His faithfulness carried us through times of uncertainty, times of joy, times of sorrow and times of celebration. We are in awe of His goodness.
His goodness overwhelmed us on March 14, 2012 as we held 8 lbs 3 0z.
Elizabeth Leland has brought us immeasurable joy.
Ellie has a sweet spirit and is a very happy girl. We have loved watching her capture the hearts of everyone she meets. She has brought so much laughter into our home.
Bryan started his fourth year at Peachtree Elementary as the K-5 P.E. teacher. He continues to lead worship part-time on Sundays. I am continually humbled by his leadership of our family and his servants heart. I am honored to share the journey of life with him. Watching him grow as a father has been one of my greatest joys. He is an amazing father.
At the end of May I had the opportunity to join The Rocket Company, an organization that provides coaching and resources to church leaders and pastors. I am daily humbled by the opportunity I have been given to serve the church.
Motherhood has been my greatest gift this year. I have seen His Faithfulness vividly demonstrated in daily as I have begun this journey. His faithfulness has met me in my exhaustion, my impatience, my fear and my lack of wisdom. I am overwhelmed as my love for Ellie grows daily and my heart grasps a little more the verse “How great the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God.” 1 John 3:1. I am honored to bear the weight of motherhood.
We are honored to serve a God who is Faithful and uses us to demonstrate that faithfulness. It’s been a full year with lots of laughter and fun. We are thankful for each one of you and your influence in our lives. Merry Christmas from the Isbell’s!
